Suzy Hartz
Hi! I am very excited to support and be a part of the Dutton Institute team! I have been working in customer service for over 20 years and am a firm believer in “treating others the way you want to be treated.” I have seen first-hand how that philosophy leads to exceptional customer service, positive results and lifelong relationships.
Early in my career, I worked for Achieve Global as a Seminar Coordinator and Event Planner. While there, I successfully completed numerous soft-skills training courses and certifications in customer service, sales and leadership. As an aside, my first professional credential was a certificate in mediation facilitated by Penn State, even before earning my bachelor's degree in political science from Cedar Crest College. Most recently, for the past 14 years, I worked for three growing, independently owned businesses, wearing multiple ‘hats’ including Marketing Specialist, HR Generalist and executive assistant to the owner of the businesses.
When time permits, I am an avid reader and have been a member of the same book club since 2001. I have three adult children living in close proximity, and I love spending time with them, other family members and friends. My husband and I frequently take our two dogs on walks around State College and have recently started riding bikes and dabbling in pickleball. Whenever I can escape, I enjoy spending time near the ocean, on a beach or chasing sunsets on the bay in Ocean City, Maryland.
